Keep cool this 4th of July with our simple DIY Craft! The steps are below, but if you'd like to see a short video, head over to our YouTube channel.
Supplies:
- Glitter Poster Board
- Metallic Poster Board
- Star Stickers
- Jumbo Craft Stick
- Holographic Duct Tape
- Jewel Tone Ruler
- Silicon Glue
- Soft Grip Scissors
- Glue Tape
Step 1:
Take out a sheet of silver and red glitter poster boards. Set aside the red and cut the silver sheet into a 5" x 7" size using a ruler for precision.
Step 2:
Cut the red glitter poster board into six half-inch strips to make the stripes for the flag. (We scaled it down for a manageable fan size.)
Step 3:
Take a sheet of blue metallic poster board and cut it into 2.25" x 3".
Step 4:
Glue the red strips onto the silver sheet using glue tape, evenly spaced. Then glue the blue piece to the top-left corner.
Step 5:
Add the stars using star stickers. We scaled down to 22 stars for our fan size.
Step 6:
Decorate your craft stick with holographic duct tape.
Step 7:
Affix the decorated craft stick to the back of the flag using silicon glue.
Step 8:
You're done! Wave your patriotic fan with pride!
